I'm running Mamewah 1.52 and Mame .90 and I'm having issues with list generation. All of the paths are correct as far as I can tell and the ini files point to the right spots. When I try to create a MAME "all games" list it acts like it's going through all of the files like it should but it doesn't return any games on the list. This is driving me crazy!
Anybody have any ideas?
Brian

Make sure you have the relevent version of xml2info.exe in your mame folder, assuming you are using a listxml list_generation_method.
-
I'm using MAME.90 with the newest version of xml2info.exe and trying verifysets_vs_listxml generation method.
will this ROM_path work?

will this ROM_path work?
No, you must specify one path only, ie e:\mame\roms. Then use list_generation_method verifysets_vs_listxml - that should do what you want.

I have no idea why it's not working

Not sure, but you could try explicitly stating your rompath in (mame's) mame.ini:
rompath e:\mame\roms

I got it figured out. I had to remove the spaces from the folder names and remove the single quotes from the rom_path in mame's mame.ini For whatever reason, mamewah was kicking me back to the list menu before mame quit running info2xml and showing an empty list but eventually the list populated itself.
