Title: How do I test A/R II board on a StarWars cockpit?
Post by: BazookaJo on January 23, 2005, 04:38:24 pm
Total newbie to electronics but have bought a multimeter and want to test the Audio/Reg board.

Now need step by step idiot-proof instructions to try determine if there's a problem e.g. turn the machine on/off.  Set multimeter to setting (x), Connect red wire to point (a), connect black wire to point (b) look for number (y) - you get the picture.

To make this even remotely possible I have found a web site with a simplified diagram of the A/R board I/we can use for reference:

Help me ArcadeControls.com you're my only hope...

Where are you located?  No one is going to give you that type of instruction set.

What I can do, though, is point you to a place where you can get great, comprehensive information that will teach you everything you need.

Read all of that, then back up a directory and read the rest.  By the end, you will know the answers to all of your questions and a LOT more.

Wow!  Looks pretty comprehensive.

May be a little advanced for me, but I'll certainly give it a go.

Cheers!

Paul.

Nah, I'm plowing through it myself.  It starts right at the beginning, for folks who don't know a thing about electronics.
