I have a chance to pick these up at $125, but I haven't seen anything around here about them. All I found was a single old post that didn't help. I've looked online and some of these had a problem with the color black but it is easily solved with a resistor mod. So with no shipping, and 19.8" viewable size, it looks like this is a good solution for me in my standard size cabinet.
Any opinions?

I went ahead and picked one up. I'll post back in a few days with info (for the record).

I'm typing on one of those right now. I love it, the pic is very clear, the supported resolutions go really high, the menus and adjustments are great, it's got a switch on the front that swaps between 2 separate VGA inputs on the rear (for you power-user types who need to switch to your "other PC" ;) ), and it's BIG!
However, for MAME, the picture's mabye a little too clear- lots of older games look all blocky and pixelated, because they want a fuzzy old arcade monitor instead. MAME's got some video filters that help re-create the arcade look that I've never fiddled around with, since this is just my desktop monitor- but they might help. Also, they have a dead-flat screen, which just looks odd for arcade games, in my opinion. Others may not care.
It IS great for MAME when you're playing vector games, though. Those benefit bigtime from high resolution, they look really sharp and bright on this monitor, compared to how they looked when I had my old 17". I'm actually considering building a vector-only cab around this monitor someday.
edit: Hey, post #400! Hooray for me!
