Post by: anoon on October 16, 2002, 07:56:32 pm
What is th edeal with pal nuts!?! I have been waiting for 2 months for my order to come in from Wico. I need them for my leaf switches. Are they available anywhere else?

You can get pal nuts at Home Depot , Lowes or any well stocked hardware store. Pal nuts are  a common type of fastener used on lots of different things and not just arcade push buttons. Looking at the top of a pal nut, they resemble a regular hex shaped nut but instead of a solid piece of steel they are hollow. Often reffered to as a "jamb nut" or "check nut" Probably more info than you need but I hope it helps. ;D

Thanks for the tip!

I did do some searching online and found they had many applications. I'm heading to home depot right away!
