Title: common hi-score/game specific config over vpn?
Post by: lcddream on January 21, 2005, 03:15:48 pm
hey guys,

Me and my bro wanna set-up a vpn at work and have a network drive that we both would map mame to, to read game cfg files with high scores and such...does anyone know of any pitfalls that we might encounter or it can even be done? basically we wanna share the same high score data for certain games over a vpn drive

ie: if we are both playing a game at the same time and i log a high score before he finishes, then he finishes his game will the whole file be overwritten with what his mame had in its cache?

or any other things to consider?

thanks

Chris

no one ever tried it so you be the first and let us know if it saves scores like you mentioned.
