Got me a honkin' new motherboard so I can get off DOS and advmame but cannot yet afford an arcade vga. I have asked this before but eneded up going the DOS route so I never pursued it all the way.
Is there a VG card (aside from the arcadeg vga) that can be used with windows (98?) + mame (also daphne and Pinmame/visual pinball) + mamewah?
Thanks!

Assuming you are using an arcade monitor (you didn't say?)
Maybe take a look at the Trident Blade T64.
You can also try your luck with Powerstrip and a compatible video card, I'm using it with a TNT2 with so-so results.
But realize that none of these will boot at 15KHz, so you have to take precautions to not damage your monitor while you wait for the system to start outputting a 15kHz signal.

I guess it may again be a moot question. I found the easymamecab site about the T64 - looks good but I think it is worth a few dollars more to get the arcadevga and keep the monitor on during boot. I deal with that now and it is kind of a pain.
Thanks for the info!
