Title: Screeching monitor

I'm sure this will be a quick-fire one for someone - what does a screeching sound every time the monitor is powered up denote?

Tony my good man - the problem has been diagnosed and I'm gonna see about getting my TV guy round to give it a look over

The TV guy is gonna put a toothpick in your Flyback/Ferrit

yea I remembered you saying so, thats why I headed this way. the link dabone gave me will no doubt be of great use to me  8)
