when my friends are over we will usually try a couple random games out of like the couple thousand that ive never even played. And we stumbled upon this 2 player game that was actually pretty entertaining, its called Ichidant-R . it kind of reminds me of mario party, you have to do a bunch of a little minigames vs each other
anyone else have like really weird games theyve found in MAME that are good

Just had a go its a bit mad
I seemed to be getting hooked on Othello Derby don't know why but I used to play Othello on the BBC and I used to be able to win 64-0.
It must have been dumb because I haven't won a game against this yet!

Fire Trap is such an awesome game
Chicken shift is pretty fun
so is pipe dream

Money Puzzle Exchanger is a pretty good 2 player puzzle game. Alone it is just way too hard -- I can never survive more than 5 minutes (The difficult raises based on time).

Daisu Kiss - A freaky japanese dating game. My idiot friends actually had this in the top 10 games on my cab at one point.
Battle Chopper/Mr. Heli - Awesome little platform/shooter. Try it!
Black Widow - It's like Robotron in a spiderweb!

MAMEwah.
My "Top 10" is just a combo of the "Most Played" and "Longest Played" lists. My friends/family/co-workers take a odd interest in such things and are determined to knock Shinobi out of it's long held #1 spot. ;D

He he I can't play Chicken shift by myself so my wife and I play it together, even then it's a total brain warp.

because its a program for an arcade machine! i was being funny BUT... a friend and i spent well over an hour playing around with it! especially the 'general address- data test' part. learnt something (not sure what though) about how the programming works...
