I got a couple Happ rotary joysticks from a local dealer, they come pre-assembled. They don't have the little E clip on the bottom of them because of the rotary switch. There are a couple of tiny screws that look like they can be undone with an allen wrench that go into a plastic piece on the joystick shaft above the rotary switch. Is this what I unscrew to remove the joystick shaft so I can mount the stick into a control panel? Is it easy to replace? Or is there another way of getting the stick into a panel?

i think you just have a clip and a nut to remove and the whole bottom part comes off...might have to remove the optical part, but i can't remember.
i do know the first time i did it all wrong, and made it hard on myself. then i realized it was simple actually.
haha! i suck. :P
