My GF has made some lovely crocheted (yes that's how it's spelled) stuffed animals and an afghan that she is selling on e-bay.
They're pretty cute CHECK EM OUT! (http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZcrashwg)

Can she do custom shapes?
YEah, if i can get one shapped like a full size head crab from half life, id get one, lol
-
She has made Bears Cats Frogs Bunnies and Elephants so far. She can do any of those in a wide variety of colors.
As for custom things such as a Head Crab... I'm not too sure, she uses a pattern for all the stuff she's done so far and I highly doubt there's a pattern for a Head Crab. :P I'll run it by her for ya though and let you know what she says.

Got any pictures of the bunny?

What about a penguin, ala Tux the Linux mascot? I'd buy one of those.

The one in this picture is not for sale as it has already been given to someone as a gift but that's pretty much what it would look like. Again, it could be made in pretty much any color you wanted, provided that there is that color yarn available...
-
those are really really cute.
Do you have a pic of the frog? And could you see if she could do a duck? The gf would prolly get a kick out of one of these.

Heheh, there goes all the respect we had... ;)
Now if there was a pac-man helmet/hat with velcro for around the chin or a space invader. I'd sport that around town.

Here is the frog. Also not for sale but I can make another. This is the GF if you havent figured that out yet. I think I could make a duck. I'm not too sure about a head crab though. The 2 that are on ebay are made with a certian type of yarn and I can sell other animals made with that yarn for $15 plus shipping. There is also a much nicer chennille type yarn and the animals are much softer, but that yarn is more exspensive and so they would cost more, $25. You can email me for more info, or to make an order :D as I probably wont be checking this thread again. My email is mom2jayleigh@comcast.net The cat is made with the exspensive yarn. Oh and they are about 9-10in tall.

Yeah, make a Pac-Man, or a Berzerk robot, or something relevant to this site, and I bet you'd sell it easily.
-
Well I wasnt really making them to sell on this sight but Will wanted to help me out so he posted it here.

I thought so too, and if I had any sewing skill, id make one myself.

:police: It's nice to Referrer track posts about my headcrabs back to their sources.
 Heres a legal note. This is for your own protection. Don't openly sell headcrabs. Valve owns the IP for them. If you attempt to then you must only sell off your sewing skills, for people who can't sew. Make it well known.
If you create any send pics of them to 3d2toy.com, they will eventually show up on the gallery.

::first wonders WHY someone would want a "Head Crab"...
then ponders the fact that there are SEWING DIAGRAMS to make one...::
