Title: Simple instructions for printing large graphics?
Post by: Dougmeister on January 18, 2005, 04:50:01 pm
Had a bookmark but can't find it now.

There was a nice tutorial somewhere on how to "cut" a large graphic into pieces to print out on a normal inkjet/laser printer 8.5"x11" paper, then "stitch" them back together on your cabinet.  Useful mostly for side art, but also for marquees.

Anyone know what I'm talking about?  I thought it used Paint Shop Pro, but I could be wrong...

I think you're thinking of Spy Styles tutorial (which is part of his whole cabinet making tutorial).  The link you're looking for is http://spystyle.arcadecontrols.com/index5.htm I think (that is directly to the printing section).

You might want to try a program called 'poster7'. You can get a trial version from www.download.com

Thanks!  That was *exactly* what I was thinking of!

Thanks for the other program, too, Felsir.  May take a look at that.
