** nothing to see here **
-
It doesn't matter, just install however you like.
-
Heh heh... HEh ;D
These kinds of questions are funny.
-
Hey,
It doesn't matter. All that matters is how you wire the stick once you have it mounted. ;D
-
It matters if the stick is a two way... ;)
-
also matter is you want to use the joystick for Q-bert/Congo Bongo games :P
-
I always do vertical, but it really doesn't matter. Real machines had them both ways.
-
I did vertical, but only because they were going on 6" wide modules, and fit better that way.
-
How do they really go??? Help!!!
How will they fit best on your CP? That's how they go...
And RayB, somebody has to ask those questions, try hard and you'll probably remember you asked yourself the same question once!
And then remember that i'm weak, so don't hit me...
-
mounted with my joystick vertical....lay horizontal b'cuz i have a really bad back.
-
i have a really bad back.
I bet the girl in your avatar does too ;)

I like to mount my Joystick on your Avatar

Alright, this ticks me off!!
The very second I posted this I realized how stupid of a question it was, so I deleted the post. Yet here it is, out in the open for everyone to see. Embarassing.
This is the first time I've built anything and I'm a little freaked out about it coming out right. But the minute I hit 'post' it was like, "oh, that's right, it doesn't matter." Too late. But I'm glad to see that the 'delete' button works ::)
And Ray, quit giving me crap every time I post something. Find someone who is as incredibly knowledgeable as you are to respond to.

megashock = n00bie!!! muhaahahhaa i bumped your post of shame
-
That's great, thank you.
I love that putdown: "you haven't been doing this as long as me! You're new! You're making a first cab! Ha ha!"
Um, yes. I am pretty new to all of this. That's my fault. I should have started with years of experience and never been new, I know. I should have never had a first cabinet and instantly had four under my belt. ::)

Your skin's too soft.
Gotta thickin it up a bit, if you're gonna try hangin round here. :)
-
Versapak, you'll have to excuse my frustration.
I clicked 'delete' on the friggin' post two seconds after I posted it.
But your point is taken, how's this?
Ray and SePHroht are teh SuXorz!!!11! (isn't that how the kids say it?) ;D
-
Quit whinning and take your ribbing like a man! ;D
Seriously, you should have seen some of the whacked out stuff I posted when I first showed up.
-
How did I miss this post!!
Here's an idea... create a "A Newbie Question Hall of Fame!!"
We've all asked stupid question! It would be funny to see them all listed.
(Granted, this goes against the BYOAC creed)
-
Megashock, just be glad you didn't ask how to install a pushbutton...
-
what is this pushbutton you're talking about? do I need one on my cab?
just kidding, guys....
;)
-
you need 2, one for "O" and another of "K" to get passed the OK screen.
-
but don't I also need one for the 'any' key? ;D
-
I think I'll order a TAB, hey, where's my TAB?
-
I think I'll order a TAB, hey, where's my TAB?
mmm..... TAB :)
-
lol, don't feel bad I actually wondered the same thing myself for a few seconds when I built my cab ::)
