I hooked my laptop up to my TV to test out some emulators to see what the quality is like, and I have to say, it looks a LOT better on the TV than on this LCD display. Anyways, this laptop has a GeForce2Go in it, and I had the problem of the right edge of the desktop or emulator was getting clipped. It wasn't a lot, but it was noticeable. At 800x600 it was clipping off from about half of the M in the system tray clock over. I'm wondering if this is the TV, or just a general crappiness of the TV-out chip on this built-in card...Anyone else have/had this problem?
Oh, I did adjust the monitor settings to move it to the left, but it had no effect on the amount clipped off.

Hey.. I just bought the same TV. I originally had it connected to a geforce2mx videocard and I had the same issue. It's the crappy tv out on the card. I was able to correct the cut off in display properties. Most drivers allow screen adjustment from within advanced display properties. The problem is the picture resets on every restart. It starts to become tiring. I just switched to an ATI radeon 9000pro and the problem went away. Hope this helps. Just wondering >>>Did you get your TV at CompUSA when they went on sale for 99 bucks?

The man has the solution! Unfortunately 99% of the time tvout+geforce=bad, while tvout+ati=good!

<lol> Yup, I got the very same Apex 20". I'm glad to hear it's the GeForce2Go TV out though. I was planning on using an ATI card in the final cab system since they've always been #1 at TV in/out features, but I wanted to make sure my gut feeling was right and it's not the TV itself...I don't plan on anything other than emulators in my cabinet, so I'm wondering if I could get away with a lower end ATI other than the Radeon series, like the All-in-wonder series if I can still get it. I think they have the same TV chipset, but I'm not an ATI expert...

Not to turn this into the Apex thread but I also just bought that TV (thanks Wal-Mart!). I've hooked up to it with an ATi Radeon and had no clipping problems.
However, there is a slight problem with the TV. Do you guys have that 'feature' that automatically adjusts the brightness in real-time? They discuss it in the manual. Anyhow it's not that noticeable with regular TV viewing, but most videogames that have quick transitions from dark to white really screw with it. Explosions, super combos, anything from bright to dark or dark to bright causes the TV to adjust then readjust its brightness. I haven't found a way to disable it.
