Title: custom ps2 contoller needed
Post by: dave dave on May 15, 2002, 06:36:46 pm
can anybody make a custom ps2 controller stick for me?

i need somebody that can make a ps2 controller WITH the analog sticks (the ones in between d-pad and buttons) on the controller.  im not talking like a huge controller i need something for my lap.  with my handicap i cant hold the regular small handheld contoller.  im in san antonio,tx and will pay for the product and shipping.  or if anybody that knows of a site or a person who might be able to help will help me also. i can live without the vibration function if needed.

please help anybody

thanks
dave

Hi Dave:

I could be wrong... but up to my knowledge.. most arcade sticks out there are digital... not analog...
which means if you push the stick up, it goes up, and there's no difference in a little up and all the way up....

up to my knowledge, quite a few companies do
sticks that are PS2 compatible... and the following
links also have 1 player sticks...

http://www.massystems.com/ProStick.html

hope that helps.

Nah...notice on that site it says this for the PS2 controller:

'Because the actual Joystick is an 8-way digital device, all Analog functions shall be simulated  "only"..'

bleh :P

If only there was a way...
