I want to build a Golden Tee cab, what kind of PC do I need and what kind of software, etc.
I'm new to this, I want it to support mame as well, but I really want Golden Tee to work well on it.

Download this demo and see if you like it. I think it's very good. You can play online also.

Gibble:
Right now, I've got a Celeron 400, 128M ram, and golden tee PC works like a champ..
That's about all you'll need.. however, if you want to be able to play some of the more recent MAME games, I'd go get an althon 1900 (or Higher) AMD processor.. They're cheap as hell right now...
Get yourself an arcade trackball and the Optipac also. :)

wierd golden tee isn't working, i finally found a d/l for it (those links didn't seem to work) and it won't run.
Odd, I have an Athlon 1.2 w 512mg Ram a GeForce2 MX400 with the latest NVidia drivers (v30.12?) and DirectX 8.
Maybe the d/l for it I found was no good. Ho hum.

I downloaded the full version with the expanded courses off of kazaa. If you have high speed you give it a try.
-
Sheesh, it's only $20 for a legal copy.
-
I bought mine for $.99 at the Micro Center bargain bin. Unopened!
-
I got mine for "free" (plus shipp8ing., bah) from planet lucky...

Demo copy is legal, no point in buying it if it won't run though is there.
