Title: Act Labs Pc Usb gun compatible with win. xp home edition??

So yeah I'm an idiot...

I went and placed a high dollar bid on the Act Labs PC usb vga light gun I don't even know works on windows xp home edition...

Anyone that can answer this will help me sleep better tonight.

I guess I should have looked around before I posted this..

Direct from act labs website...

Q: I connect my PC USB Gun, but nothing happens. Windows doesn't detect it.
A: Try a different USB Port on your computer. Remember that the USB Gun will only work on Windows 98 Second Edition, Windows ME, Windows 2000 and Windows XP. Older versions of Windows are not supported. Also make sure that your USB ports are not disabled in your system BIOS. Finally, make sure you have the latest version of DirectX installed on your system.

The Act-Labs PC USB Light Gun is compatible with XP.

The ones that are NOT compatible are the SGA gun (that hooks to a gameport), and the Gun System (the two guns with a holder base for them).

I'm not sure which guy is you (which is why I use the same nick everywhere), but I "think" you're safe.
