No offense, but it'll have to be someone who isn't too bright then too... the going rate for Intellivisions and a bunch of games on eBay or garage sales, etc is about $30-50 unless you're talking a LARGE collection or really rare stuff.

Ebay isnt exactly the "market" i go by.
yes i realize it isnt something so totally rare that nobody can get.. but theres alot of factors that go into play with "value" to people..
1) Location.. How hard is it to find said item where you live
2) The Want.. How bad does said person want said item
3) Memorys.. Some people pay crazy money for things that REMIND them of things like childhood.. we all do it now, arcade machines.. some of us spend INSANE ammounts on this "hobby".. yet our payoff for the most part? to play old games we used to play as youngsters..

I've been a hardcore console collector for more than a decade. I know the market and its variables. The price I quoted is accurate, unless you're planning on finding someone ignorant of its real value and ripping them off.

I have 2 of those with many more games and the boxes are in better condition. I paid a total of $57 for everything. It is worth what someone will pay for it. But, people who know will only give about $30 for that one. The boxes are kinda crushed. For some, that is a BIG deal. For others, they may pay up to $50-$70. But like I said, those who know, won't. Good luck.

Comments like this do make it sound like you're looking for a sucker.
Trust me, the hardcore collector knows what an Intellivision is worth... ;)

thanks for successfully making me feel like a total dick for even posting about it ::)
I wasn't trying to make you sound like a dick at all. I mean, if someone offered me $200 for my INTV I would sell it to them in a minute. We were just saying, you probably won't find someone like that. If you do, give them my number. I will sell them mine for $175 ;) I think we were just trying to let you know what you could expect so you didn't get your hopes too high. Good luck.

sigh.. i only asked what it was worth..
And a few of us who collect such things only offered our opinions on the subject. No malice intended.

Ebay IS where most places base there prices on..
1) Location - Not an issue anymore. If I want it, I'll pay for the shipping.
2) Want - If your price is too high, someone else is selling one on ebay.
3) Comparing an Arcade game to a console is crazy. As finding your favourite Arcade game is much harder to find. Especially one in good conditon. I can find a console game in my local classified or on ebay.
Plus, if the Arcade is in your area, people pay a higher price for it, as they don;t have to pay for shipping.
