Some of you may be aware that I have just put my newly fixed up NeoGeo lowboy running Metal Slug 1 in to the indoor climbing centre that my wife and I run.
Well I just went to check the takings and it took $25.20 in it's first 5 days. He he easy life here I come.
Here's a pic for those who haven't seen it, nothing special.

I think you should share your profit with all of us, as a gesture of your support our community ;)

Very cool! :) How much did you spend to fix it up?

What game are you going to buy next??

I spent $130 on the cab and $140 on the monitor repair. New controls cost approx $50 and I sold the old controls for $100. That's all $NZ so multiply by about 0.7 to get $US.
I don't know if I'll buy another cab until we move (not much space in our rental but we are buying sometime this year hopefully). I might just start collecting a few decent PCB's and NeoGeo carts for this cab and swap them around to keep the punters interested.
And then I guess I'll start saving for my yacht.

I agree. I love those lowboy cabs, I wish I could find one around here.

Do you think anyone would be interested in measurements for a DIY low boy?
-
Us apartment dwellers would love plans for a low boy.

I would. I already have a lowboy, but I think yours (scaled down) would give a great sitdown cab for my nephews.
If you do get the measurements, you may want to submit them to Jakobud's site too. It

Lol at "apartment sized" that's going to be a running joke for sometime I feel.
No problem. I will draw up some plans asap and submit them.
Cheers

Maybe you should find somewhere to put it that attracts less active people.
The take would probably be better then.

It actually works quite well as most climbers need to have a few brief rests when they are climbing so it's quite a good time out.
I was actually surprised at how much it took rather than how little. I don't really care how much it takes, it's just a bit of fun really.

I think it would make more money if you put Crazy Climber in there instead ;)
-
Vs Ice Climber might do good as well ;)
-
First game I thought of was Crazy Climber 2 but where on earth I'd get the board for it I don't know. Would be cool though.

It would be fantastic to have a good lowboy plan set at Jakobuds. (actually, I had already saved a pic and intended to work up some plans for myself anyway)
I really dig this cabinet... Nicely done.
