I asked this question in the software forum and didn't get a reply, and I figured this forum gets read more often so I am going to post here too. If this is not okay sorry mods
I was wondering if I can use advanceCD and a J-PAC together to output to an arcade monitor. I have read that AdvanceMame can output to arcade monitor and AdvanceCD uses AdvanceMame but it runs a Linux setup and I cant determine if it outputs the FE and games at the right frequency.
I have not yet bought a J-PAC, I was thinking I might try this for a future project. If anyone knows if this will work or is willing to test it for me I would appreciate it.
thanks

after digging aroud i found out it does not support arcade monitors
Please note that AdvanceCD works only with PC MultiSync monitors
with these clock ranges:
Horizontal Clock: 30 to 60 kHz
Vertical Clock: 55 to 110 Hz
I guess I should have read ALL the files it came with
