All,
I think I know the answer here but wanted to make sure. I'm going to get a used VGA arcade monitor. It's between a Eygo for $100 or a WG U3100 for $150. What should I get and why?
Thanks,
Todd

It all gets down to price and shipping costs. They are both good monitors, but the Wells would be better considering excellent tech support, parts availability, and ease of repair.

No to step on your message, but do you have a source for these monitors at that price? I am looking for a eygo right now for a cocktail cabinet I am building for a friend. I have two of them and like them alot.

I cant find any Eygo suppliers online.

If you are interested in a slightly used one (no burn), let me know. I can pick one up from this guy and ship it to you. I think I'm going for the WG one. Send me your zip and I'll let you know how much it'll cost.

what size EYGO? 19 or 27?
I have the 27" and can tell you about it.
Its pretty good. 640x480 only (it CAN handle 320x240 and 320x200 but with hwstretching they look EXACTLY the same at 640x480).
They look like a VGA monitor with scanlines (goto Oscars monitor comparison page). And I like it.
At this point... I would rather go with a ArcadeVGA + a new $200 19" arcade monitor then a 27" VGA myself. I like the color depth in the original arcade monitors....
but other then that... The people who had problems with them had them with shipping... but once they worked, they seem to work well...
oh yeah... you will probalby have to remove it from its metal frame to mount it.
