Title: Yoke Flipping on WG U3100
Post by: rerstad on January 11, 2005, 12:16:55 pm
I'm trying to do a yoke flip on a WG 3100 19"--does anyone know off-hand which wires get flipped?  I see red-blue and yellow-green mentioned as being pretty common for other monitors.

Thanks.

I have done this on a U3100.  Can't remember the colors but I believe they are typical.  Anyway, regardless of color:  It is  4 pin connector.  Two on one side get flipped and the two on the other side get flipped.
before:
1234
after:
2143
Just cut the connector in two with some diaganol cutters.
I have a pic at home of the after shot.  I can post it tonight if you need it.

Thanks.  I'd seen Bob Robert's guide before, but wanted to confirm I had the right wires.  I'd just say for anyone thinking of doing it, it's no big deal. Just be very careful of the wires so you don't hit the hot ones.  Took me all of 3 minutes to swap the wires and now the display is right for my cocktail cab.
