Title: A new perspective for Pac-Man
Post by: Spaced Invader on January 11, 2005, 07:48:53 am
This is kinda cool...deserves a mention at least. Pac-Man Emulated in 3d. It's an emulator--that uses the original roms--and allows for two different 3d perspectives. It's called Pacifi3d and is "proof of concept" at the moment...who knows where this may lead. Personally I've always loved emulators that take the original Rom's and make "improvements".  ;D

Link (note its's geocities and has a bandwith limit)...

Just tried it - it's really cool, controls a bit unresponsive tho.  Lets hope the author finishes it - would be great on a cab...
