Blitz for the PC doesn't need a 49 way, though, obviously.
I have Blitz configured just fine. You should be able to configure it with a IPAC. Just remap the buttons in Blitz to the same ones that you have your IPAC mapped to.
What specifically is the problem?

I have blitz 2000 pc and i'm having the same problem. On my cp wich uses a keyboard hack, joystick one works which uses up/down/left/right but no other button works. On the second keyboard every button works. when i try to remap they keys nothing happens. I use win xp, and have tried running in win 98 mode also. Any ideas?

I've tried to remap all the controls though my IPAC.
Here is the detailed issue at hand:
When I have the game up and running most of the controls are numeric.
Only the keypad on the right side of my keyboard works, if I use any numbers ontop of the keyboard the game doesn't respond.
So no problem right, just use the right hand numbers to remap the keys,.....wrong......
When I map number 6 for a pass, it inputs like "END" in the Ipac reconfiguration application screen.
Any suggestions?????//

Make sure the keyboard has num lock on. But I'd think number 1 would get END, and number 6 would be left arrow if this was the problem...

Well, besides klov is often wrong and should not be taken as The Truth....
The original arcade could be played with either 49-way OR 8-way, and there's a dipswtich to switch between the two. Mame has the dipswitch, but only the 8-way one works.

I'll try the numbers lock tonight and see if that makes and difference.
Pretty sure I try toggling it.

I got the in game button config to work, but it was a PAIN... took like 20 minutes. :P
You have to do alot of setting controls, finding the conflicts, then eliminating the conflicts.

I don't use the default IPAC settings though... I changed mine to remove buttons like enter, control and alt.
