Title: got my genesis and nes games, now need help setting up.

I put in my genesis and nes cds i revieved and all the games are in zipped folders. the ones that look like a folder with a zipper on them. When i double click one of the folders it has another file in that, then when I open that it says i cant open it and its a .bin file. How do I run these games using Gens and virtuanes, do i need to extact, download something? No idea what to do, looking for instructions.

You can leave your Genesis ROMs zipped.  Just put them in a folder where you have Gens, run Gens, and then open one of the zip files using Gens.

All of my NES ROMs have an nes extension, not bin.  I don't know what those are.

i didnt check nes yet, just the genesis were in bin, how do you set up nes.
