Pepboys is having a sale on their happ style game stools only $17.00.  Same height, materials, and seat diameter as the happs that sell for $60+.

Thanks for the posting, but the Pep Boys by me didn't have any stools for $17.

You're right, they're advertised for $19.00 after rebate, but they ring up at $27.00 in the store plus the mail in rebate totalling $17.00. 

They also have the maltese cross and skull & flame designs as well.  I bought two skull designs and they work great!  ---my bottom--- has never felt better.

All the Pepboys must not have the same prices.  I bought two of the flame stools tonight and they rang up $29.99.  Regardless, still a great price after rebate.  Like you pointed out, sure beats Happ's price.  Thanks again for sharing it.

Nice stools, but if you look carefully you will notice that the cushion is about half as thick, and there is only one support ring around the stool.  The Happs has two.  Still a good deal, but the Happs is definitely a hardier stool.

They're pretty sturdy... but the foam is none too thick.  :-\

They swivel tho, and that's nifty!

I have a pair of the checkered ones.

Great post, I actually picked up a flame stool myself yesterday.  It seems plenty sturdy to me and comfortable enough for the amount of time I'll be sitting down to play.  Thanks for the post, I know I would have missed the sale if it wasn't for this.

How tall are the stools? I looked on the Happ site, but didnt see dimension for height.
