Hey guys,
I was wondering if theres anything different or special about Sega Arcade Monitors(more specifically this one: http://basementarcade.com/arcade/4sale/Sega%20200/album1.html )? Cuz I was thinking about buying the one above and wanted to stick it in my Mortal Kombat machine to replace the one in there that has some issues. Thanks!

Sega (in reality a Nanao brand) monitors operate on 100 volts AC power as standard in JAPAN. One of these in a Nintendo cabinet and an inverter board would work, but American cabinets provide 120 volts AC power to the monitor and would fry the "Sega" (Nanao) monitor. These particular monitors don't always sync to American video signal standards either. In my opinion I would run as fast as I could away from this monitor!
