Title: Where to put hole for console controllers?
Post by: shawnzilla on January 09, 2005, 10:55:53 am
I'm building a fairly standard LUSID/Project Arcade Cab. I will also be using intellivision & atari interfaces with my cab, but I'm not sure where to place the hole for them. I'm hesitant to drill a hole on the front of my cp box, for a couple of reasons. I don't want the light from the trackball to bleed through, and I don't relish the asthetics of a big hole on the front of my cp.

So, my idea is to go ahead and drill the hole in front...BUT, use a grommet sleeve. Does anyone know of any grommet sleeves that are fully closeable when not in use? My other idea is to snake the interfaces through the lightgun holster on the front.

Any ideas?
