Title: Wavey sides

I currentlly don't have the specifics of the monitor but it is a samsung tube in a kortek(sp?) chasis.

That's called "doing the hula" and is documented on Randy Fromms' technical page. Generally it's caused by the "B+" regulator transistor (the chassis mounted one--not to be confused with the horizontal output transistor which is also chassis mounted) being bad.

I have completely checked this monitor and I cannot find anything wrong with it.
