10.The Mackenzie brothers can join Sonny Bono in Congress!!!

Funny list. I love top-tens.
Off-topic: Is "affects" a typo, does it mean something else then effects or can you spell it in two different ways? Not riding you here for a typo or my misunderstanding, but I was reading a manual (yes I know I should be ashamed of myself for doing that unmanly thing) and they used the word "affect" all the time too (where I assumed they meant "effect").

Actually, I just cut and pasted the whole thing off the Bob and Doug web site with the word "affect". I left it as is but you have a point there about affect versus effect...
I think they should have used word "effect"as this is what I think they were meaning (i.e., the result of Canada and US merging).
But then again, maybe it was a spoof on the website as Bob and Doug are not known as being the sharpest tools in the shed. ;)

To heck with Molson, you gotta try Sleeman's next time yer here, or maybe some Maudite. Maudite is brewed in Quebec and packs a whopping 8% alcohol content. A steady stream of those and yer on yer @rse in no time ;D

Canada is part of the North American continent.
It's like calling the USA, AUSA -- "The American United States of America".
AUSA only makes sense if you play dodgeball.
