FATX (xbox's file system) does not support commas (,) in file names but I want my roms listed like: "Lion King, The.zip" FATX does however support periods (.) in the file name so "Lion King. The.zip" is acceptable to both the xbox and myself.
So here's the problem...
I used a renaming program to replace all the , with . and all worked out fine. Then I send them through WinRar to zip them down to a more managable size right... Well WinRar names it's output files without the stuff after the (.)! WTF! So it leaves me with a zip called "Lion King.zip" and the contents are "Lion King. The"
So can anyone suggest some other way of zipping my files that will recongnize the stuff after the . or maybe have a better idea?

is the period really necessary? how about a - or _

Well a comma would be the proper way and a period is the closest thing I can use so I guess I'll have to go through and rename all the zip files manually... :-\

*cough* anal *cough*

how about just LION KING or put the games that are THE SOMETHING under T..
thats just a little anal man.. ;D

WinRAR thinks anything after the first period is the extension I believe.
Just switch the former commas to a "-" or underscore, or something like that. Even a space would work. It's the only choice you really have unless you don't wanna have those games on your system cuz it bothers you so much ;)

Just use a batch renamer that lets you change those characters. Seriously, if you're so OCD about this, maybe you shouldn't be allowed to use WinRAR ;) ;D
