My friend wanted me to build him a control panel, but i simply don't have the time for it.

One of the members here crsdawg I think was making some and selling them on ebay. Did some good craftmenship and even came with a plexi or lexan top. I probably butchered the name, but that doesn't take away from a high quality product he was making.
You also can't go wrong if you do business with Charlie from Gamecab.
Hope this helps some way

I have a woodworking business (make custom bookshelf's, fireplace surrounds, etc.) and have made several panels for friends. And have thought about making some for people. I will post a pic of one I just finished. Let me know what you think.

you should try to convince your buddy to build his own. The gratification that comes from using an arcade controller you designed and built is unlike no other. It's a super fun process and he can save alotta money taking that route.

I build custom control panels under the name Projekt Produkt. I listen to what exactly a person wants and build it to their desired dimensions and specs. Any machine any array of devices. Below is a pic of some controllers I have built for people in the past. I'd be happy to discuss a controller with your friend. I don't charge a lot either.
