Title: Mamewah game select sensitivity adjust?
Post by: ras2a on December 30, 2004, 02:09:15 pm
Is there a way to adjust the game select sensitivity.  Sometimes it's skips past 2 or 3 games unless you flick the the joystick lightly (seems same with keys also)?  An ini file change perhaps?

thanks

Craig

You need to adjust the "sensitivity" values in the main config file (the name of which escapes me - check all the .ini files and you'll find it).  From memory these are set to 100ms.  I set mind to 250ms which stops the double-jump you talk about.

OMG, the king lives! ;D...hehe.  That's brilliant, cheers mate!

EDIT: Got it: default.ini

Nice one

Burger-pepsi-momma!

The 100ms option causes my setup to "double-jump" too.  That's on my iPac2-driven CP.  It only happened after a recent upgrade of my 12 month old copy of MAMEWah.

At any rate... not a hard problem to fix, so I'm not complaining.  MAMEWah is still the best cab FE period. :)

Couldn't agree more and Ste is a top bloke who is exceedingly helpful.  Happy new year!
