Uhhhhhhhhh ???
Allright trying to build a new panel but this time I want some effects around the buttons and the joystick. My new panel will be 40X12 at 150 DPI and I am trying to use this picture for the buttons hole templete.

This picture is supposed to be the correct size for buttons and joystick. Now my question is,do I leave this picture as is and place it on my panel art and I will have the accurate buttons+joystick placement ?? This picture is at 300DPI and my artwork can't be 300 cuz my computer cant handle it so I will have to settle for 150DPI.Do I resize this picture from 300 to 150 ? If so which resizing opition should I choose ? Anyone have any input on this ? Thanks in advance 8)

That picture is nowhere near the right size at 300dpi - the buttons are like 10mm wide. It looks like it's supposed to be about 100dpi, but without knowing the exact resolution it was done at you'll never be sure if the sizes are quite right.

I'm looking into it......
(by the way, what does "cemetric" mean?)

Yeah the sizing is not correct. Whoever made it probably had other settings set such that this image would come out correctly. It would be inaccurate to try and guess that those settings were...
Actually, I have an idea... What should the width be? 26" by any chance?

It actually works out to be 96 pixels per inch. Here it is resized to 150 pixels per inch. Rename .txt to .zip
-
what do ye mean when ye say rename
sorry im not the most technology minded person when i downloaded it it was as a text doc?
-
It's actually a zip file. I renamed it because zip files are not an allowed attachment. You have to rename the extension on the downloaded file from .txt to .zip before extracting the jpg.
