Title: My CP -OR- how I spent my Christmas vacation.
Post by: JCKnife on December 29, 2004, 04:03:38 pm: Got this done last night. It's just 1/2" plywood wrapped in heavy-duty (non-adhesive) vinyl. I consider it a good "first draft" and a learning experience. Now I just need to build a cabinet...

It was the thickest one they had--I think it mentioned something about being suitable for nautical applications. It seems extremely tear-resistant--even at cuts. I'm curious to see how it will hold up myself.

Post by: JCKnife on December 29, 2004, 08:22:43 pm: THe four in the front came out great (of course the slight corners in the front are the easiest). One of the ones in the back is a little hinkey but it won't be visible when installed.

I'm realizing now that I've left very little room on the underside to mount the IPAC and Optipac. I'm wishing I'd put the pause (yellow) button somewhere else. But I'm sure I'll figure something out.
