I think you mean "NeoGeo console joystick coming to PS2." I've actually never used one of those, but I think I'll just keep on using my arcade controls.

I find it hard to believe that it's worth $56!

They're a nostalgia piece I guess...
... I have 3 of those sticks for my AES and they do the job, but not so much I need them for my PS2 as well.

I have never actaully played a neogeo AES before.

Well, at the time (early to mid 90's) an AES and AES carts were cheaper and a tad easier to get into the (parents) house, ya know?
The collectors market for them BOOMED with the advent of the 'ol interweb and with the decline of the arcade market tho it is easier now to find arcade hardware and software cheap.
I hang on to the AES tho for some reason... Probably so my NeoCD won't get lonely. ;)

Don't get me wrong, even though I have an MVS, if I also had an AES you'd have to pry it from my cold dead fingers. I just can't afford the carts for one, hence the reason for those particular grapes being sour. ;)

I feel ya man. I've never really been able to afford an AES habit either.
I'd love to be able to buy more and better AES games. But I won't shell out $200-$300+ for something I can just play emulated for free pretty much.
I got my AES back before the collectors boom... swapped my Sega CD for it. At the time people thought I was INSANE... well who's laughing now!?!
Plus I've grabbed a pretty decent collection of carts over the years just nickel-diming it, never springing for the new stuff, always the 2 year old KOF... you know how it is.
