hello all! Ive just bought my first cabinet,
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=6139738127&ssPageName=STRK:MEWN:IT
all works fine, but theres no game. i bought this cab coz it reminds me of when i was little and my cousins and i would sneak into pontins and plY IT :d
What you guys reckon of it?
-
Sounds good to me! Throw a PC with an ArcadeVGA card and a JPAC in there and you're good to go!
-
thats the plan, the only thing im confused about is, i want to make p1 and p2 6 buttons, do i only need a jpac ?

There's something ODD about that cabinet......

I was thinking the same thing. It's probably just the CP. I don't think the original TMNT had that large drop from the monitor to the CP.
-
well, for one, the controll panel has been changed for a vendetta one. does it seem unreasonable that cp (is thsat the coin pot? ) to be a big drop?? ill email the seller and see what he has to say about it :D ta guys. anything else i need to ask him? its my ffirst cab and bedly need ur expert advice. :)

That is a dedicated European unit. Different from the US ones. See the drop is supposed to be there, as the coin mechs are there.
Note the Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles sideart.
Marquee is a bootleg though.
-
the marquee will go anyways, gonna keep the sideart though. what u lot reckon? do i mutilate the 4 player dash or sell it and make/buy a new un. bearing in mind that its not an origonal tmnt one its a vendetta 4 player one.. any advice would be great, cheers :D

Make a new one if you aren't going to use the old one as is.
-
Looks like they used a Gaunlet control panel...

Yes you did something stupid, you spelled it wrong!
