Title: Anyone thought of or seen this on a cab?
Post by: TapeWurm on May 17, 2002, 10:58:25 am
Has anyone seen this done? I thought it would be cool to add the Happs Pinball Shooter Assembly to the front of my cab for an extra touch on Pinball games. Being able to actually pull the launcher and let it go, it would simply strike a button or switch wired to that particular key, thereby launching the ball in the game. It's only about $15 and I think would be a very cool extra.
Check it out at: http://www.happcontrols.com/amusement/pinball/95008600.htm

Let me know!

Great idea!  As soon as Akira Psychoball comes out for the PS2, I was planing on putting side buttons on my cab for a more realistic pinball action.  This would complete the illusion. :-)

Yeah, some people were building these a while ago (when vpinball/vpinmame first came out)

I was going (and haven't had time) build a control panel just for pinball games..  It would have an upsidedown box over my control panel.  That box would have the buttons on it... but there would be 3 buttons pointing back (so they are inbetween the floating upsidedown box and the cabinet) that would be hooked up to the tilt buttons.

Never got around to doing it yet.
