Title: For a 5 in 1 bartop what should be used in front of the monitor?
Post by: cursedphantasm on December 22, 2004, 07:03:58 pm
I want a real arcade feel so I'm wondering what should go in front of the monitor and would some thin Plexiglas or a clear sheet of plastic work?

Also should i use a TV for the monitor?

If you can find an RCA to VGA converter for under $80, use a monitor, otherwise it's plain foolishness not to use a TV for this application.

The 5-in-1's use RCA connectors, so if you DO happen to find a way to convert the signal to VGA cheaply, let us know.

Yes, every adaptor you can ever imagine exists, all are expensive, and all of them degrade the image quality.
