What is your favorite online radio station? There is a million I suppose, but I wonder if anyone hear has any favorites?
I enjoy Rock and Roll music. Hard Rock and Heavy Metal are among my favorites. I also enjoy a bit of Blues, Jazz, and Rythem and Blues from time to time. I could go on and on I suppose.
Years ago, when radio stations could simulcast on the radio without having to pay twice the royalties, I enjoyed listening to two stations from home (I am far from home now, living in a different time zone let alone a different state. I am rambling again...
I used to listen to 101WRIF out of Detroit and Rock 103WIQB out of Ann Arbor. 103 turned into a Country station and that was how I found out. Anywho...
After that, I found KNAC.com, which is ok, but a little heavy for my tastes sometimes.
I had been checking out some of the songs on Launchcast for awhile and tried some of their different stations.
I am kinda looking for something from the eighties along with the Hard Rock and Heavy metal. Not something that plays all three, but 3 diffferent ones. All in all I am just looking to see if anyone here has some favorites.
Thanks in advance.
After checking out Kindom of Loathing, I noticed they had a radio station. Its ok.

I don't listen to any online radio, but I used to listen to KNAC over the air when I lived in LA. I also spent a good amount of my youth listening to 99.5 KISS out of San Antonio. They're not as heavy as KNAC and I'd actually describe them as a combo of "metal" and "classic hard rock"
Here, I just googled them and it looks like you can listen online. The URL is:
http://kissrocks.com/listen/ (http://kissrocks.com/listen/)
In the last hour they've played:Metallica, Foo Fighters, Korn, Buck Cherry, Black Sabbath, Rage against the machine, Sublime and Nirvana.

The best alternative/retro station in the World!

I listen to that a fair bit, plus it lets me know about new metal releases (there are more than you would think!)
It's a mix station but good.
