Title: Wiring a REMOTE computer power button
Post by: MAME nut on December 16, 2004, 11:59:20 am: After going thru old threads, I'm attempting to splice into the two wires on my computer's power button....and run a remote switch to the outside of my cabinet.

They are called many things like wire splices or scotch locks (brand name) and you should be able to find them at home depot.

I has able to find the clip pictured above at a local hardware store. I was amazed that the whole project only tooks 15 - 20 minutes.....now I start everything from one button located on the top of my machine!!!

Glad you found some. I think radioshack carries something simular too.
