I put model viewers for all current models online...
I am intersted how they work on your system.
If you have problems with them please let me know what videocard and os you are using. And maybe try a different renderer by right clicking and choosing a different renderer.
Also Zookeeper is a bit different because it has a real media video texture on it. I am also interested how this works and what version of real player you are using.
(Asteroids needs some updating I know ;-) )

Yeah, I'm getting errors with Zookeeper (RealPlayer 8 ). It ends up just zooming all the way in...
-
They all look good! A couple of broken links: Capcom cps2a has no hyperlink, and the Tron model viewer actually shows the Xmen cab...
BTW, I've noticed some people have gotten lazy with the side art--several cabs have the art reversed on one side or the other! ;) That Pac-Man sideart needs some perspective correction and scaling... Otherwise, very cool!
-
man, nothing against Zakk, but those volcano buttons are ugly in asteroids. Square tops!!! Now that one can zoom in on it....
and I was hoping I could see through the viewer in bzone:( If animated screen textures are included in these models in the future that will be fun to sync...
HC, you didn't put a bottom on the neogeo cab, hehe.

1-up:
I will fix those broken links...
And yes a lot of artwork on the cabs needs to be redone badly. I just don't have the time at the moment to do that myself... Remember we made the first bunch very fast to have something to fillup the arcade. And there was in most cases not good artwork available...
Sirp:
Yeah...when i fix the side I will change the buttons also...:-)

It sounds also you indeed have a problem with the realmedia setup. I have heard before that after people had first real one on their system they did not get it to work properly even if they reverted back to real player 8.

Whoa! You're repeating yourself!! :o I don't think I have RealOne on my actual arcade machine yet, (been testing everything on my workstation first) so I may be able to get RealPlayer8 installed clean. :)

;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Actually dan is the only one that models bottoms on his cabs... if you look all of the other cabs are bottomless. ;D Rember... these were orignally designed for 3darcade, which views them on a floor. :)

hehe yes and they we we work on those things...in most cases you make a new cab by editing a similar one...and if that has not bottom...;-)

True, but with other FEs maybe using these models....

We want to make the models as accurate as possible...so they will have bottoms over time...
The biggest problem at the moment is that for most models we don't have good detailed measurements...

What goes wrong exactly? Does it screw up completely or does it ask nicely for the real plugin?
update: and if you don't have the required xtra installed happen if you place it in yout shock wave xtra folder located in your windows system32 or system folder under macromed\shockwave 8\xtras
you can get it here http://www.i-modernist.com/RealMedia Asset.x32 (http://www.i-modernist.com/RealMedia Asset.x32)

Thanks )p(! That fixed the error, but there's no screenshot on the monitor now...
BTW, what was happening was, the model would load, an error message would come up mentioning a missing xtra (message disappears too quick to read it exactly) then the cab would zoom all the way in, so you just saw the CP and part of the screen. You couldn't rotate or move the cab in any way.

Interesting...you just see a black screen...you should see the rm video playing...so there is definately a problem with your rm install. What this xtra does is to enable the plugin to use a realmedia stream...

All the cabs work for me, exept the zookeeper. I get 2 errors:
This application requires an extra (RealMedia) that does not exist or did not initialize properly.
And
This shockwave movie has errors that have caused playback problems. Please contact the author bla bla bla..
I have RealOne player installed. Cant seem to find Real Player 8.. Not that I've really looked :)

Thanks )p(, I installed the xtra, and the cab then appeared. It would not allow me to do anthing tho, but this is down to my system, it wanted me to install some 'Real' thing, but it was getting late for me ;D I'll try it again later.
