Title: Power Drift Monitor Problem Help WANTED

Hi,

Can any one describe what is and where is the problem, if the monitor (I haven't checked the model of the monitor yet) when powered up for the first time, the image occupies only say 75% of the screen centrally. After 10 or so minutes (I suppose when the monitor warms up), the screen decides to occupy 100% of the screen. Also noticed the monitor slightly brightens when the game runs at full speed (for the better).

Any one?

I used to have a problem where only 80% of the screen was visible.  I got a local tv repair man to look at it and install a new cap kit and the picture became 100% and much brighter.  It could be the same thing.

If you have the user manual for the monitor throw it in the direction of a tv repair man, I find they can fix most problems for less than a tenner.
