I'm getting a coin box for my centipede cabinet, but there is no lid. I'm planning to just find a piece of scrap sheet metal and make one. Can somebody post some pictures of the lid only (from a few angles, including one hed on from the top)?
I'm specifically looking for the locations of the holes and the size and configuration of the lip. Thanks.

Are you sure it had a lid?

Why does that photo show 3 coin slots? Centipede should have 2.

All of those atari doors are set up to take three coin mechs. It's the front part of the door that dictates the amount of coin slots, but if you look at the metal plate on the back, its set up for three.
My guess is that instead of making two kinds of lids (one with two holes and one with three holes), they just went with one with three holes.
Its the same reason they have braille on ATM's in drive thru's.
That's my guess.

My Space Invaders cocktail has two coin openings in the coin box lid despite the fact that it only has one coin mech. Midway coin doors can be set up for two coin mechs, so I suspect it's the same deal.

Those lids must be rare. I have 3 centipede cabs, and none have coinbox lids. Though my coin boxes seem to be different anyway... (I think, just closed the doors when I saw no lid. Sorry, I tried...
