Has anyone seen these?:

If they truly are 'fully programmable' then this should make a REALLY easy interface for Xbox / PS2's to use PC keyboards (encoders) and trackballs...

Has anyone tried this yet? wouldn't it be so cool playing Halo 2 as an arcade. :)

i have one... i like it but for me to use it isn't the best due to i'm not at a desk playing H2. setting up controls takes some time but its easy. i find it odd trying to map certain buttons to certain keys but after patience, it does work.

That's funny. I went the backwards route. My arcade controls work on a PS2 & cube and had to be converted to work on a PC. ;D

Someone was selling one of these on the Console forum a few weeks ago.

We sell an X-Box adaptor which is designed to interface with the I-PAC but will also work with a keyboard. It handles two players as well.

I guess thinking about it the x-box pad is perfectly suited for h2 and games of that nature but for some games the arcade concept could be quite cool :)

Also: I just don't see the appeal of keyboard/mouse control for FPS games. Give me dual analog thumbsticks any day.
I disagree completely - I am 1 million % better with keyboard/mouse than those damn sticks. IMO you can't get the same speed of movement for looking around with analog sticks that you can with a mouse. While I love FPS's, I don't have any for my consoles for this very reason...that said I don't really want to use a keyboard & mouse either as I don't have a flat surface to lean on.
I love the thumbsticks for driving games tho :)

Although I haven't gone the IPAC route (I use hacked PS1 pads and converters for Mame and consoles), I must say that this is quite an achivement. Kudos to you Andy for listening to your customers!!!
I am curious though, if you would plan on supporting other consoles, or just recommend people get xbox to whatever-console converters.
Also curious if you have looked into full analog support for happ 49-way joystick owners.
