Title: Is the Tron Joystick analog or digital?

...I'm curious how it compares to the heavy duty Happ stick-

Tron sticks are digital- 4 leaf switches under the hood. 

The base assembly is different than the one in that Happ pic.  Looks about like the base from an original Pac stick (not the new reunion model, which is just a 4-way Super).

The thing that makes Tron sticks special (aside from the UV sensitive blue grips) is the way the restrictors are designed.  They are 8-way, but with very small corners.  That makes it possible to go diagonal on the Cone & Spider waves, but easy to avoid the diagonals during the Light Cycles.
