Title: Hantarex image width issues
Post by: nanos203 on December 06, 2004, 10:19:22 am
Hi,

I recently bought a VERY old 19" Hantarex monitor that used to be in a Ghost N' Gobblin's cabinet (I can see the high scores!!). Anyway, I've got this thing plugged into my ArcadeVGA card and the sides of the images bleed off to the left and to the right of screen.  I do not see any horizontal adjustments in the back, only vertical ones.  Anyone have any ideas or experience with these things?

Thank in advance!!

Hantarex (as with all monitor manufacturers) makes hundreds of different models. It would help if you would identify your specific model. If you don't know, then I suggest going to Bob Roberts' site and look under "What's My Monitor?" at the different Hantarex models.

You need to go back and look at the "MTC" series. Hantarex mainly made the MTC series in the old days.

Have a look at http://www.coin.demon.co.uk/monitor.htm#3

This is how I identified my Hantarex monitor

Shouldn't it still have a width coil on board?  Adjust it in to make it smaller and out to make it bigger?

Can't you change the mu of the cap next to the width coil and change the width of the screen?
