I finally downloaded the background files for Armor Attack, but now that it's using the artwork, the part of the screen that's used for playing the game is only about 25% of my screen size instead of full sized.
I took a look at the files in the artwork and it looks like there's a B/W file that tells mame where the bezel should be and the .art file that has other info for the layout. I tried changing the bezel setting to "0" inside the .art file, and the bezel disappeared but the play area is still too small.
Do I need to change the "bezelmask" file as well?
Thanks

I usually just rename the artwork file to whatever-backup.zip... Then the game doesn't use it at all and I don't need to mess with the game's individual settings.

Yeah, Armor Attack is the only one I'm using because it provides a background that shows you where things are that you need to see because you have to drive around buildings. Without the background, you can't see them and you just run into invisible objects.

Solution found:
After trying various numerical parameters in the .art file and after creating new alpha channel mask-files, I discovered the solution was simply to delete the armorabezelmask.png file and delete the bezel information out of the .art file
Now I can play it full screen with the background as well. Yeah! :)
