Title: Mame cab... Question about Jamma

Hey i've built a mame cab.  but would like to be able to hook up a jamma board to it... is this possible?

I'm wondering the same thing, as I have a jamma board.
I think you can only do this if you have an Arcade monitor in your cab.
Someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

Yes, arcade games require arcade monitors. 

You'll only be able to run a JAMMA board in your home built cabinet if you built your cabinet as a JAMMA cabinet, then installed a PC in there using something like a J-PAC.  Would require a standard resolution arcade monitor, proper arcade power supply and JAMMA spec'd wiring harness, first and foremost.

Short answer: if you built the cabinet yourself and you're having to ask this question, you can't run a JAMMA board in your cabinet.
