Whaddya think?

Or.. you can get a laptop for that price.
-
I gotta laptop with MAME on it...the whole point is that this is Game Boy size!....WAAAAAAAAAAY more portable then a laptop (and battery life might be better too!).
-
OK then. It seems like it might be able to handle the resolution of the game, but support for MAME might be iffy. What about PDA's for example: http://www.palminfocenter.com/view_story.asp?ID=4678

That's cool too, but I really think that something like this could be an ideal medium for a pocket sized MAME, as it's fundamentally desgined a little more like an actual handheld game.

This is what you want for a portable mame. There is even a mame version for it I beleive.

I'm more than happy with E2MAME (http://www.harmonicode.com/EEMame/) on my NGage, my wife also has the 'Lite' version on her Nokia 3650. The recent releases have been rock solid.
-
I'll never forget when someone at the New Egland get together mentioned some game and then joymonkey pulled out his phone and said I think I have that game on my phone , I never even knew phone mame existed.

Anyone know whats driving that multimedia item? you don't need much of a processor for media (just a fast bus)
I'm waiting for the epia 533 handheld that is coming out. That should play a few thousand perfectly.
-
Could you post some links for info on this new handheld? Sounds interesting.....

Come on, all you need is a PocketPC. Dell sells pretty good ones and at affordable prices.

Come on, I'm aware of the Pocket PC....I just wanna see some other possible viable options with more gamer-ish button layouts.
Yeah, and besides the video camera MAME, m'kay?
Anything about the Tapwave?

Some quack should make a Timex Sinclair MAME. ;-)
