Hi! Just another dumb guy here :-[,
How do you connect a coin acceptor to a jukebox software (like Arcade, wincab or virtual jukebox)? what's to consider in getting a coin acceptor.
Thanks a lot.

Coin doors have momentary switches that look like any other button. Just wire those switches to your keyboard encoder and you're good to go.

O, thanks Chris!
About your wincab/doscab, Excellent! great job!
1 thing Tho, I can't imagine myself browsing over thousands of songs to look for that 1 song I am interested in playing. What about having an index button to take us to a page for doing the artis/title search, just a thought. I understand you'd like to keep it simple as an ol jukebox. Once again excellent work you're doing there.
O, BTW, heard Music Touch Systems? I tried the demo and this thing packed with some good features, you may want to look at it. http://www.musictouch.co.nz/software.htm

I'm planning to implement this with pop-up windows and filters, which isn't even remotely realistic, but if someone doesn't like it they don't have to map a button to it.
That's Great!
I forgot to ask earlier, if the coin door's has a switch, how does the 2 credits work? With 2 coin acceptors?

AlphaToggle = True
Set AlphaToggle to False (or No, or Off, or Disabled, or 0) to disable this option. (This should be the default; it looks like I accidentally shipped the latest beta with this set to True.)
O, ok not a problem
I'm not exactly sure what you're asking...
:D sorry for the poor explaination,
I meant I wanted to use a coin acceptor to work like; when only 1 coin inserted, it will give 1 credit but if 2 coins inserted will give me 3 credits (1 bonus)
Thank you for the great help!
